"This book is a product of the desire to come up with a teaching material on human behavior that contains not only theoretical constructs but also caselets, cases, games, group dynamics exercises, program contents for short seminars and summaries of relevant research studies in the Philippines. It is mainly a textbook for an undergraduate course in human behavior in organizations, a required subject in all Philippine schools. The content of this textbook can be covered in one semester. It includes four main areas: fundamentals of human behavior, motivation, needs and values; communication; and leadership. The individual is the focus of the discussion leaving much of group and organization as dimensions for deeper analysis in the graduate program."
