"Skills for a lifetime in industrial arts I follow the desired learning competencies prescribed in the new curriculum (2010 secondary curriculum). It aims to impart knowledge "and train student with the ladderized skills in industrial Arts which equip them with lifelong learning skills that would be useful in real-life situations. This books has a well-araged sequence of lessons based on the new curriculum (Career Pathways) for easier assimilation. These are : Drafting Technology, Handicraft , Electrical Technology, Electronics Technology. Each area is divided into four quarters and followed the framework of CP-TLE through Understanding by Design whereby the teacher starts with classroom outcomes and then plans the curriculum, choosing activities and materials that lead students to deeper understanding of the content. The expected learning outcomes of the different areas in Industrial Arts are the focus in the book. The content were carefully selected to ensure that the desired learning outcomes will be attained.
