"Music and Arts are performance-based disciplines. Effective learning occurs through active experience, participation and performance, creative expression, aesthetic valuation, critical response, and interpretation. The skills that are development include reading/ analyzing, listening/ observing, performing (singing, using musical instruments, moving, acting, and playing using different materials, techniques, and processes), responding, composing, and creating. Physical Education contributes to the development of fitness, health, and wellness among school-age students as provided in the program's rich and challenging physical activity experiences. It promotes the development of a participative and active body. Health focuses on the physical, mental, emotional, social, moral, and spiritual dimensions of holistic health. Health enable students to acquire essential knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to promote good nutrition, prevent and control diseases and substance misuse and abuse, and reduce health-related injuries.
